Because those discussions are always some of the most heated.

So, what is it that threatens people about the opposite sex?

Nothing at all and nothing should. Both sexes should cohesively exist because they serve different purposes in the same cause. It's common logic to those who have a single brain cell in their head.

Anyone who disagrees with this statement is blatantly an idiot.

Beautifully put - not alot of people seem to understand that.

My boss is an extremely unhappily married man (30 years mind you) and he always asks who the boss is in my house and I laugh ... there really is no supreme ruler. The day to day running of the house is mine (kids schedules, where we go, who comes over) and the big stuff falls to him (when we are ready to make large ticket decisions - the stuff that effects the whole family gets discussed) Together we run a pretty smooth ship. Plus, there is respect and laughter - everyone forgets those are very important.
