+ meeting with a FRIEND.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As soon as he entered the building, Jesse James Curtis took a left. He took a left because there was no right, no path to choose from. The week prior to this one saw Jesse James take a loss to Rot, who eventually moved on in the tourney to face sean Hunter while managing to keep Jesse out of it. Obviously, the man was not pleased with the outcome of this match as he knew why he ended up losing. No, it was not all Drew Stevenson's fault even though he managed to bring his 300 pound self towards the cage, a bucket of water in tow, with obvious motives. Curtis should have known that something like this would occur after he confronted Stevenson backstage. It was a clear miscalculation by Jesse James Curtis and he took full responsibility for it, in his wheelchair for 3 days. But now that he able to walk, with minor injuries, he decided to go see a friend to his, perhaps to acquire some assistance.

As he walked into what seemed like a maze, he was greeted by a guard that seemed to have appeared out of no where. Grabbing his hand without consulting him first, the guard forced Jesse into another direction.

"Please go this way," he said in a calm, monotone voice that blocked any of his emotions from showing. Jesse gazed at him in confusion before he broke free from his grip with force.

"Excuse me?" said Jesse before coming to a full stop and forcing the guard to also do the same. "I was given instructions to.."

"Those are wrong," the guard says immediately dispelling any truth about the map drawn out for him. "This map leads to something very dangerous, something very monsterous and whoever gave you this map intended for you to be hurt. Please always listen to the guards whenever you enter this building."

With a slight scoff, Jesse nods his head and though a soft smile is visible on his face, he seems to be the farthest thing from pleased. "Oh yeah? Why should I trust you?" he asked casually.

"Becau-"

Before the man who say anything, Jesse James interjected. "-Because what? You're a guard? Who bestowed this responsibility upon you? Obviously not something worthy enough to determine what is safe and what is not. And for your information, Timothy Decaine got me this map."

"And who did he get it from?" asked the guard.

Jesse had no response. He simply hung his head low and shook his head. "I don't know,"

"Exactly," said the guard then gestured for Jesse to follow him.

But before the two could go, a mysterious man in a suit wrapped both his arms around Jesse James Curtis's back. "Mr. Curtis!" he said loudly, dragging him away from the guard.

"Mr. Curtis," he repeated, this time in a softer volume as though he didn't want to disturb anyone. "I know your boss has sent you here for something and I know exactly what that is,"

"Then why don't you tell me," said Jesse calmly.

With a much needed sigh, the man continued, "You're trying to convince.. you want to get..." he was truly lost for words and the fact that he was sweating excessively didn't help with the situation. "I just know what you're here for, okay? And I really doubt that's a good idea."

The two men took slow steps as they advance towards a room. Now standing outside of it, the man in black suit continued to lecture him on why he shouldn't enter it. Although it was quite strange as the room had absolutely no doors whatsoever but instead only a frame from which the door had been broken down from.

"This is a very dangerous thing that your boss is asking you to do and no matter how much you would like to sit here and argue with me about it, I'm not going to let you do it."

"Mr. Perkins, may I ask you something?" said Jesse James upon gazing into the room every now and then. "Do you believe in free will?"

"Yes Mr. Curtis, I do," said the man we had come to know as Mr. Perkins.

"Then you will let me go in despite the fact that you believe this is not safe. I've been through much worse, Mr. Perkins. I'm quite certain I can handle.. this."

Nodding his head slightly, the man shrugged his shoulders indicating that he could do no more.

"You win," he said and then gently placed his arm on Jesse's shoulder as he stood a few inches behind him. "Good luck, son."

"Thank you," mumbled Jesse sincerely and then headed inside the dark room.

There was a dim light at the end but suddenly the whole room lit up, making him feel as though he was in a horror movie. He looked towards his side and spotted numerous amounts of medical equipment stacked over each other. Obviously, these were kept safe with special lasers that would detect any person who made physical contact with any of them, triggering an alarm of sorts that would catch the attention of everyone within the vicinity. This was immediately noted by Jesse as he saw it upon entering the rather large room. He shook his head in disbelief though. How could one person be selfish enough to ultilize all the equiment that could have been put to use for an army of people? Who funded all this and why? Those thoughts ran through his mind as he approached the shatterproof glass box located towards the room's end. He came to a full stop while gazing at it and then looked at the person inside of it. His hazel green eyes shot wide open as he saw.. HER.
