“On the other hand, you have someone like myself, who not only has had experience being a heavyweight champion but rather, someone who will garner more attention than Kevin ever could. When you look at the men In the run for the title, and even the current champion, they’re so bland and boring. You could actually take someone like Jay Styles, an ordinary Joe to BUD, dress him up a little and make him Drew Stevenson the third. These men could easily be replaced by anyone and BUD would still feel the same. But then you have a woman like me, and by nature I spark so much controversy among the BUD roster and those entering the federation. Although it is quite risky to have a woman at the helm, as it has been due to experience of my first reign, given these circumstances, it’s the best possible ‘answer�? Everyone who has stepped into the squared circle with me knows I don’t half ass anything like most of the well heeled superstars in this place. We’ve seen lack luster performances from those who are regarded as legends in this place and they are what allowed Drew Stevenson to make it this far.�?A look of disappointment is visible on her face as she speaks these facts. “Perhaps when I do become the champion, it’ll threaten a lot of egos, as if it isn’t already happening with Drew. I suppose being a man automatically enables you as the better champion, even though you’d fall at the hands of a woman like myself. It’s the 21st century and I feel that if these average joes are unable to see a woman being at the top in BUD, I’m THE woman who will teach them to accept the fact. If anyone has a problem with me being the heavyweight champion in BUD, they are more than welcome to come and try to take my belt. But I suppose I’m getting a little too ahead of myself as we simply in the cocoon stage of my next title reign.�?/FONT>
Jack proceeds with his questions, quite possibly the last set of question of the day.
“Since the future is looking pretty good for you, I was wondering if you would feel comfortable with being BUD’s soon to be leader. Remember that the current champion takes all the heat for a falling federation, something I guess the past few champions had to do.�?/FONT>
Softly rubbing her hands together, she smirks as though she has been waiting for this question all along.
“Although it’s had it’s fair share of bad publicity BUD’s shows weren’t as lack luster as they are now with Stevenson at the helm and Sane sniffing around his ring boots. Once I defeat Sane and head over to become the new heavyweight champion, I will be the one who restores BUD to a time in which wrestlers from all over flocked to the domain to have these stats on their resume. THAT is what a true champion does in the domain they compete to keep their belt in as they are the driving force behind the company.�?/FONT>
A new waitress comes in and picks up the plate that was placed on the floor and leaves with it without interrupting the conversation these two were so indulged in.
“Lastly, I would like ask which of the previous champions you respect the most? And if you could, which one would you model your reign after?�?/FONT>
Rebecca sighs as though the world knows her answer to this one. Jack simply sat there and listened as he placed his chin upon his two index fingers that met above his adam’s apple.
“I think Mark Cain was a great champion and perhaps one of the most influential but I was not present during his reign and therefore wasn’t able to experience it. I’m sure we are aware of the fact that Seifer has held the BUD heavyweight title five times in the domain and, in my opinion, is THEE BEST champion BUD has ever seen to this date. The fact that I know him, personally and professionally, just makes me truly respect everything he has done in the past and continues to do so in the future. I sort of got to experience what it was like for him when he was the champion as I was by his side at the time and it was so fascinating. Being able to watch him closely, I was able to study the every move of the man who I regard as the greatest in the world. It has also been proven time and again that he brings BUD’s superstars to their feet as many have flocked to the domain just to face him as he exudes popularity both in and outside BUD. Yet at the same time he was also the most feared champion as recent events prove that he had been intentionally kept away from holding it just because everyone knows that he’d steam roll through the entire roster and be untouchable. I love those two aspects of his reign and I really want to add that into mind whilst still building upon it and making it MY OWN. I’m certain I will be able to put my own spin on the heavyweight championship, something a female in BUD hasn‘t been able to do in years.�?/FONT>
She played with her blonde hair as she boasted about Seifer’s skills as if they were her own. From a distance, you could hear the crying of a baby as it’s mother tried to keep it quite. Momentarily distracted, Rebecca looks over but Sheppard draws her back in by speaking up again.
“Today’s interview went really well,�?he says in the sweet tones that mirrored his ones from before indicating that there might be more to come. “Thank you so much for inviting me over to talk about the match. I guess although it is just a match at hangover, it feels like one that should be held at a pay per view.�?/FONT>
“I’d prefer that the whole world is able to see me defeat Kevin with their very own eyes.�?she interrupts.
“That’s a good point,�?he agrees without reluctance.
“It was rather thereputic for me to relieve my thoughts about the upcoming match and go over what my opponent had to say. I guess I’ll see you in a short period of time when I am competing against Drew Stevenson for his belt. Thank you for coming all the way to Munich,�?she says with a genuine smile mirrored by Sheppard.
The two of them now stand up from the seats they had taken up for the evening and shake hands. Noticing some slight movement, Adolph curls out from under the table and begins to lick Jack’s hand before he leaves. The two had obviously formed a bond on their trip from to Munich, one which left teeth marks on Sheppard’s ankles. As the sun begins to set, Rebecca continues to sketch the blueprints of her future empire. Whilst the world may go to sleep, she has much more at hand to deal with.
