"Six hundred and twenty one days."

"Excuse me?"

"I counted." she said coldly.

D o n ' t  l e t  t h e  e x t e r i o r s  f o o l  y o u . A sunny day, green grass and the sound of birds chirping was all meant to conceal the most powerful weapon created by God's very own hands; malevolence. Those who say that God never wished for evil to consume man are those who cower in fear when faced with the darker side. It was God who created man and he gave man free will, something that has been constantly pried from our hands by our own kind. Perhaps it was a mistake, perhaps it was an experiment or just the fact that he did not wish to make puppets of us all. However, from the hundreds of men he created, evil was born and it was from evil that the goodness man now possesses surfaced, separating the two and pitching them against each other.

She emerged back from the kitchen with a knife in her hand. She had gone there just a second ago to check on the chicken she was cooking for them tonight. Smoke slowly filled the kitchen behind her as she gazed at the sharp object in her hand.

"Honey, it's time to go home." she said and then advanced towards the door where a man sat and passed by him without taking a second look. His head was hung all the way to the side, perhaps by the remains of his throat. The top of his body was covered in blood but she didn't sport a single drop.

No, if you're wondering, this wasn't a product of hate but instead, the liberation of oneself from the ol' ball and chain. They were never married or had been romantically involved at all but this description was appropriate because he was a man who held her back from what she was born to do. She ran out into the grass barefoot with her arms in the air. A smile spread across her face as the wind blew in her direction and past her, almost as if it blew a layer of her old skin off. She was reborn again after being locked away for what seemed like eternity.

"He held me hostage." Her words obviously differed from those around her. She was actually sentenced to prison for capturing and holding captive the son of one of her many colleagues. However, after hurting every single one of the inmates who shared a cell in the facility she was staying in, she got transferred to her hometown where she was kept in a single house with one of the strongest men the world will never know of and the watchful eyes of cameras. Everyday she would prepare him a meal and bring it to him like he was of her own flesh. She could have easily poisoned it but that would make her a coward. Her plan of escape would never be revealed, not even if her 'life' was threatened but here she sat, confessing to all her wrong doings. It was clear that she wanted to run off scott free without ever having to deal with the past but her instincts kept her from that.

"Have you not learned your lesson yet?" asked a man who was in the room with her. He wore all black on his body and a hideous grimace on his face.

"I was tortured, emotionally. Threatened. I think I had the right to do what I did and I never believed for a second that I deserved to live in that place again."

"When they transferred you to Bavaria, they expected you to do better. They were trying to put you in a good place where you would learn to take responsibility for your actions and seek remorse." he said, placing his hands on either side of the long table she sat before. There was a fire behind him, almost as though they were having this discussion in hell.

"Do you honestly believed that?" she said, stretching her neck muscles to bring her face closer to his. "That place is hell for me and they sent me back there for one reason only, and I'm going to put this as simple as possible - to fuck with my mind. I understand that I'm getting away with something that no other human would but that is because I am unlike them. Only God can judge me and I make sure no one else does."

They exchange glances for a mere second and then he pulls away.

"Well, you have lived up to that statement all your life. What do you intend doing with your free time?"

"What I have done best and what I will continue to do." She smirks and rests freely on her back, now placing her legs on the table he once held on to.

"Which is?"

"Doing your job, better than you do it."

He laughed shaking his head and then glared at her for a moment.

"So, I'll give you another chance." he says and without hesitating and quite faster than one would imagine, he snaps and she wakes up.

New York City was just how she remembered it. In fact, the sound of cop cars circling the area constantly put her right back in old days. She was out for good and free to do whatever she pleased which meant that her life was finally coming together like she wished it would. But as happy as she currently was, there was still a part of her missing, a major part. She missed her old ways and wanted to dabble in the big games again. Temptation got the best of her and so she decided to leave for home in California, one that offered peace of mind and a floor just for training.

"Rebecca, I'm glad you decided to return." A very familiar voice was heard over the phone. "Actually, I'm very glad. You chose the right place to make your grand return to the squared circle in."

"Well, Mr. Decaine, if you hadn't offered me that two million, I would have been elsewhere." she jokes. "Don't take it personally, I don't deal with money but blood. I love IRX although my stay had been quite brief. I've been watching your show for quite some time now and you could actually consider me a fan." We all know Decaine probably has a smirk on his face at this moment. "But I am looking for something in return for my hours of dedication to your show."

"Anything, Rebecca." Yes, he was on a first name basis with her.

"I simply want what every superstar in your fed is looking for - a fight. I want gallons of blood spilled, heads busted open and something really interesting. Oh, and this time I plan on staying for good."

"And to think you were going to ask for someone's head on a platter. You've got just that, Bex. When you come to IRX, I guarantee you will get an experience like no other."

"Thank you, Mr. Decaine, Sir. I will get in contact with you, in person, as soon as possible. Have a nice day." She is about to disconnect when he encourages her not to.

"Rebecca, wait. There is another diva, ahem SUPERstar we have also signed and I think you would be interested in knowing. SHE is actually what you consider a blood relation."

Rebecca paused for a moment to venture a guess but he didn't give her much time.

"She's your stable mate, sister and close friend - Keisha Williams."

Silence.

"Hmmf" a soft sound escapes her lips. "Good bye, Decaine." she says before hanging up the phone. Gazing at the phone for a minute or two, she repeats the man's last two words.

"Keisha Williams." she says and then rolls her eyes dramatically letting the audience know her exactly feeling. The scene blacks out on us as we are left with something to think about.
