. Jolene Marciano, 14, is an Italian born former high fashion model who has walked for names like Karl Lagerfeld and John Galliano. New York has been her home ever since the age of two and she grew up near Nathaniel Archibald. She has just "returned from Europe" to New York, after her modeling contract ended. Jolene was a model at the age of 7 but had been admitted to a rehabillitation center after using cocaine at the tender age of 12, most assume the cause was her father's sudden death. Whilst in the institution, she met Eric van der woodsen whom she quickly befriended as she felt he was the only one who understood how the loss of her father affected her. Jolene currently resides in a Park Avenue apartment with her mother Melinda as her house had been sold after her father's death. As a child, Jolene Marciano had a strong dislike for Jenny Humphrey who she believed shouldn't be allowed to breathe the same air as her. . Erik Van Der Woodsen, age 14, is the younger brother of heiress Serena van der Woodsen and son of Lilly and William van der Woodsen, a wealthy family residing on the upper east side of Manhattan. Erik's family is the richest amongst their peers as their wealth is soon to be combined with that of the Bass family seeing as his mother is to wed Bart Bass. Although his sister Serena used to be a notorious bad girl, Erik wasn't exactly the better half of the van der Woodsen children himself. He had been admitted to rehab at a very early age for reasons only his family and Blair Waldorf know of. During his stay at the rehabilitation institute, he was re-introduced to Jolene Marciano, a former high fashion model who was put in for reasons that would make Lindsay Lohan blush. He formed a strong bond with the girl and ended up losing his virginity to her at one point, causing Lilly van der Woodsen to remove him from that institution and move him to a private one, the Ostroff center, where he wouldn't make contact with other patients. Since leaving rehab, Erik has only been of help to a reformed bad girl in his sister and to his struggling mother. Since Serena was formerly dating Dan Humphrey, that enabled Erik to meet his younger sister Jenny Humphrey, whom he developed a crush on. Although nothing became of them, their friendship still remains strong. As he is soon becoming a young man, Erik's current goals are to find himself and he is currently being assisted by his soon to be step brother, Chuck Bass. |  | | |
