Hi all,
I'm a PC Addict and a SU Addict, I need a 12 step program.
Anyway, my ?? is, I've been buying more SU Sets, as I use them for sending my hostesses notes, from Thank Yous, to get well, Christmas, when I had my Open House, DBC shows, all kinds of things.  My ?? is, can I write off the cost of at least part of them for my PC business??

I want the opinion of people who've done this PC business, as this is my first year to submit taxes and want to know what you think.

Thanks,

Lisa

Lisa,
I did right it off. I am also a SU addict and I ask my tax guy and it goes in my advertising section. Anything you use in you business is a right off. I even right off my Longenberger baskests and my Partylite candles.

Hope that helps.

I write off my Longaberger baskets if I use them at shows.  Even if I buy them planning on using them at a show once!  I just bought the new Picket Fence Basket to put Easter Eggs in to use as guest prizes at my April Shows!

I plan on writing off the stamp set from Stampin' Up too when I get it!

I write off my rubber stamps but I'm also a Stampin' Up! demonstrator!
But even if you aren't a SU demonstrator, they should still be legitimate
expenses if you use them for your PC business.

Which SU stamps do you use? I just bought a stamp from a local store here and was looking for others to put on my postcards.

I've got too many to name, lol.

But ones that are coming to mind are the

Business Set
Chocolate Set
Chocolate Chip Wheel (Carmel Ink)
BBQ Set
I've also got various that have Thank You; Get Well
and I just ordered the Wedding set with the Roses.

HTH,

Lisa

I agree with the stamp sets that Lisa mentioned.  A couple of other possibilities could
be "Espress Yourself"  This could be used when giving samples of our coffees.  It
has a larger cup, a row of 5 smaller cups, marshmallows, coffee beans & sayings like
"Friends are the coffee break in the business of life"  "Your friendship warms my heart"
"Happy Birthday to a Regular Joe"  & Just wanted to Espresso my thanks"

There's also a set called What's for dinner.  It's a recipe card that can be stamped
for the proper course of the recipe; such as Vegetables, Salads & Sides, Desserts
Miscellaneous etc.

If you have downline you could use "Teacher's Aid"  It has stamps that say
Keep Flying High, Good Job, Whale of a Good Job, Keep up the Good Work etc.

I have made large bookmarks with an apple & attached a Quikut paring knife.
I used a citrus stamp & attached a citrus peeler.  The stamps Iused are no
longer available but Fresh Fruits could be used instead.    It has a slice of a
citrus fruit which could be an orange, lemon or lime or grapefruit depending on
the color of ink used.  It also has a pear, an apple, a cherry & a pineapple.

As soon as I can find my samples I'll post them so you can see them.

Hope this helps someone!

Bev
