My husband just called from work saying his boss' brother was getting married.  He already told her about the registry-yeah, hope they do it!  But she was asking about favors for the wedding guests-ugh!  I can come up with lots of ideas for products but anyone have any of those catchy poems that might go with one of our products?  They are looking for some ideas from me and if I can give them the total package they are more apt to order favors from me.  Thank you, thank you!!!  Karen

Thanks Bonnie and Beth!  I have a call in to find out their budget, although I think they may spend more than I would-ya know what I mean?!  lol
I can only keep my fingers crossed that this works out!  I'm just psyched that my husband did this on his own!

I love the I-Slice so I am thinking I-slice on a key ring. Since it is the greatest thing for opening those darn cd wrappings even guys would love!  (I can't think of a "poem" though) Or maybe I-Slice and Small Bar board.

Something cute I thought up would be to take those fake wedding rings you get in the bridal section and tie them to the mini Bamboo Spoons.  Kind of let them dangle a bit.  I'll have to think of a cutsy saying.

How about the mini serving spatula with baked cookies attached!!

Or how about the creative cutters set.  There are 8 cutters in each tin....attach a little note or the rings...

Our small spreaders with the ceramic handle would be cute....Spreading our love around....something like that.

Love the petite squares...so pretty and elegant!

The mini whisk with jordan almonds or butter mints inside of them and wrapped with tule, tie with a ribbon.
Love the I-Slice idea on the key ring.
We do still have the stone ware heart molds. They are nice to set in a woven selections basket with buscits to keep them warm.
You might also ask if they are looking for ideas of gifts for everyone who attends the party or just the wedding party that might make a difference in what they might be buying.
How about our "Good Company" Coffee samples, or tea bags. Put a little tag "The bride and groom are happy to celebrate their speical day with such good company" or something along those lines, on the coffee bag or tea bag (Get some little paper envelopes for the tea bags).
Maybe give the wine bottle opener to the best man for the toast.
Or have them buy some bottles of the cinnamon pluss and mix it up with sugar then portion it out into little baggies and attach a note and the recipe for cinnamon sugar nibbles. I'll keep an eye out for poems..

Oooh!!!  I just came across something toooooo cute!!!

Take our Good Company Tea bags.  Put them in those cute little sachets in the color of the bride's wedding.  Attach a note that says....Love is brewing!!

How cute is that?!  Man I wish I had more tea!  I'd do that for my shower this Saturday!

I just saw those too :). If they are getting married in the fall they could make these cute little paper wrappers for the tea or spices that say "Falling in love and then the bride and grooms name at the bottom with the wedding date" http://www.favoraffair.com/fall-love-autumn-mint-packs.html.

Okay -here is a GREAT idea for the guests at the wedding - you have all comeup with  nicer things for the bridal party - one of our former consultants gave out  Season's Best at her wedding -  There was a nice comment inside cover at the top thanking all for helping them gather ingredients...with this poem inside and their names/dates at the bottom- it was tied with a nice ribbon and given as favors to each wedding guest!  If I wasn't happily  married for over 14 years I'd use it!  HTH Laura

Recipe for a Happy Marriage

1 cup consideration

1 cup courtesy

2 cupfuls flattery carefully concealed

2 cupfuls milk of human kindness

1 gallon faith and trust in each other

2 cupfuls praise

1 small pinch of in-laws

1 reasonable budget; a generous dash of cooperation

3 teaspoons pure extract of "I'm sorry"

1 cup of contentment

1 cup each of confidence and encouragement

1 large or several small hobbies

1 cup of blindness to each other's faults

1. Flavor with frequent portions of recreation and a dash of happy memories.

2. Stir well and remove any specks of jealousy, temper and criticism.

3. Sweeten well with generous portions of love and keep warm with a steady flame of devotion.

** Never serve with a cold shoulder or a hot tounge.

Love, Bride and Groom's names

their wedding date

The Creative Cutters could say "We are cut out for each other" wth their names and date underneath.

Everyone has come up with such great ideas!! I love the tea idea for showers also.
