Anyone have any good Pumpkin recipes for demo?? I have a lot of requests for this for my November shows...which are 9 shows in 11 days so I am looking for a rather easy recipe to repeat at each show...

I should be able to make this in my sleep by Thanksgiving!!

Any help on recipe ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

The Spice Pumpkin Dip is very popular.  I also made a pumpkin cake in the microwave that I can't remember where I got the recipe from!  I will look today.  Congrats on all the shows.

The Spiced Pumpkin Pie Spread is really good and super easy.  Easily doubled too.

Another really good and really simple recipe is the Quick Pumpkin Spice Cake (All the Best) done in the microwave.

I've always wanted to try the Pumpkin Ribbon Cake from Delightful Desserts but haven't yet.  Looks like it might not be the best demo though cuz it takes quite a while to bake.

We tried a frozen pumpkin dessert once at a team meeting...wasn't very good.  Not sure which one it was.  I was thinking it was a celebrations recipe but I didn't see it on the list on CC.  Could have been the Frozen Pumpkin Mouse Pie from the Easy Pies & Tarts.  Just remember it wasn't very good especially for all the effort you go through to make a frozen pie.

I love Pumpkin Pie ala Easy, but not for a demo.

You have to bake it for 30 mins and it's just not that good when it's still so hot.

Ok...let's try again without all the HTML yuck...

Well in that case...here's my favorite!!

Philadelphia 3-Step Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

Prep Time:  10 minutes   Baking Time:  40 minutes plus cooling   Refrigerating Time:  3 hours

Ingredients:

2 packages (8 ounces each) Philadelphia Cream Cheese, softened

½ cup Sugar

½ teaspoon vanilla

2 eggs

½ cup canned pumpkin

½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Dash each ground cloves and nutmeg

1 ready-to-use graham cracker crust (6 ounce or 9 inch)

Directions:

  1. Mix cream cheese, sugar and vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.  Add eggs; mix until blended.  Remove 1 cup batter; stir in pumpkin and spices.
  2. Pour remaining plain batter into crust.  Top with pumpkin batter.
  3. Bake at 350°F for 40 minutes or until center is almost set.  Cool.  Refrigerate 3 hours or overnight.  Garnish with thawed Cool Whip.

Sometimes I just skip the refrigerating time and EAT!!

Sandi, the Spiced Pumpkin Pie Spread is in the F/W 04 SB.  It's in the docs.
