Would you mind posting what you are doing at your ice cream bar shows-- I LOVE the idea of that and the salad bar shows!

Thanks so much for sharing!  Laura

Have we got back on this one yet? Wasn't sure so I decided to bump this thread back onto the front page for anyone to contribute. I'll go ahead & add a HOT TOPICS! link to this thread once we get a decent list of ideas going, ok?

I REALLY thought I had answered this !!!  I am so sorry !!!!  Here is part of my invite....

Make your own sinfully sweet sundae with…ice cream, brownies, strawberries, bananas, pineapple, hot fudge, nuts, chocolate curls, Oreo cookies, whipped cream,

and much more !

Also enjoy an Old Fashioned Root Beer Float !

I am basically gonna do it like the other "bar" shows.....have stations where the guests can fix their sundaes !!  Here is a list (just off the top of my head) of some of the things I will have for them....please add to it !!!

Ice cream and soda (for the floats) - the chillzanne bucket and ice cream scoop

Bananas, strawberries, cherries, pineapple - Chillzanne Rec. Server and Woven Selections to put server in - to hold fruit after using the egg slicer plus, utility knife, cutting board

Nuts - Food Chopper

Oreos - Meat Tenderizer (flat side) to crush them

Hot Fudge - Micro cooker or Fondue Set

Chocolate curls - Cheese Grater

Whipped topping - Easy Accent Decorater

Sprinkles - SA small bowls and caddy with small bamboo spoons

Ice Cream Sandwiches - with the infamous maker of course !

I am also offering to bring the brownies IF they have 10 confirmed guests !  These will be made in one of the bar pans to talk about stoneware !  I will do the ice cube demo in the prof. small saute pan to show off our cookware !    Any other ideas would be GREATLY appreciated !!!!

put an ice cube in a piece of prof. cookware (I use the small saute pan...it's the only one I had for a long time...got it in my SSmonth1) and let it melt !!  the whole pan gets cold demoing how the cookware heats and cooks evenly !!

Ice Cream Social Stations by Julie Gale:

Total of 5 stations.
Stir fry
Peanuts,oreos, cool whip
Hot fudge, Ice Cream
Strawberries, Chocolate Bar or Chocolate Kisses
Brownies OR pound cake, Quick Stir Pitcher OR Ice Shaver, Bananas

I give the hostess a choice of pound cake with a spiced apple stir fry or brownies. I divide the crowd into 2-3 people depending on how many are there. I do my introduction, explain every product at the station and then let them prepare the toppings. After everything is done, we clear off the work table and then they eat and order. It's very popular in with me in this area. Let me know if you want to know which products I use at the stations.

Stations for the party:
Station #1
Brownies made before show in the 9x9 and Pound Cake (purchased or made ahead of time in Loaf Pan)
stir-fry apples using APCS, Stir-Fry Skillet, Super Scraper, and Flour/Sugar Shaker
Bananas using Garnisher
Quick Stir Pitcher OR ice shaver for something to drink
Station #2
Nuts and Oreos using Food Chopper
Cool Whip in the EZ Accent Decorator using the All purpose spreader
Station #3
Strawberries using tomato corer and Egg Slicer Plus and put in Batter Bowl.
Chocolate kisses for cheese grater
Station #4
Hot fudge or caramel using the Covered Micro Cooker
Ice Cream using the scoop
Station #5
Chocolate bar using Vegetable Peeler for chocolate curls
Give the show a try sometime. Food is delicious and everyone has fun. Very hard for me to decide if sales are better. Be sure to review the products BEFORE they start cooking so they can hear your selling points.
