They booked from in PP+?

I know you can do it in the old program and I have a group of bookings where they were all booking off each other and I'm not sure which show this host booked from and I hate to have to either ASK and look like an idiot or sit and click through all the parties to see if I can find it. I did a little of that. Hopefully I didn't forget to put her in as a booking....... :-0

at this time, I dont think so. they are constantly updating the system. I'd give HO an email saying this is one of the features you'd like to have done... SOON.

I did actually manage to find her, thankfully, just by clicking through the shows.....I'm glad I didn't forget her at the time and get stuck buying a host special!

I'll be glad when PP+ is done. Not only do I miss some things, but I also hate the 30 minutes it takes to start it up some days when there is a big update! :-)

I guess I should have waited but I figured the only way to learn it was to do it!

Thanks!
Shelby

What I do is put a note in the show set-up screen where the show was booked from (host's name and show #).  That way when I open the show screen, I click on the summary page and the information is right there.

You also can't set the tasks for each show from the show booking screen (you have to actually create a new show and PP+ assigns the next show number).  When I'm booking shows several months out, I don't want to assign a show number to it yet, but want to be reminded to follow-up with the host.  I have sent a note on this to technical support.

When I put shows in my calendar, I use sticky notes so I can move them if the date changes.  At the bottom of the sticky note, I also put the name of the host from whom the party was booked, it's a great reminder when I'm looking at my calendar to make calls or head to the show.

And I agree with you Joy -- I wish I could set tasks for a booking without setting up a show.  I don't set up the show until the month of the party, just in case it changes and I would then have to re-number my shows.

I'll send a request as well.  I also don't like that once a date is set from a booking, you can't change it.  You have to delete and create a new one.

Darcy, not sure why you can't change the date of a booking.  I had a show reschedule and I was able to change the booking date.  You do have to do it in two places (on the show booked from and on the summary tab of the show).  It even changed my task dates when I changed it on the show summary tab.

I was glad to see they added the wish list report this week.  I sent that one in at the same time.  At least we know they are working on the suggestions.

Hey Joy -- I meant I can't change the task dates for shows i had entered before they added that feature to set your own preferences for task times.  I have entered my preferences, but for those already in my system, I can't change the due date.  It's a small thing, but frustrating.  I like to change the due date if I call and leave a message, then I change the due date for the new date that I want to follow up with that person.  Does that make sense?

I am able to change the task due date when I try to edit a task. I double click the task and it opens a window and you can select the date, which brings up a calendar to change the date.

These are all great ideas.  What I've been doing is entering bookings as new shows, even if they are out there a ways.  Then I enter the past host's name as the 1st guest so I remember where the booking came from.  Right now, I have a group of ladies that are booking from each other right and left and its the only way I can keep track of them!

There is now a Booking Report in P3
Reports
Future Booking Report

You can set a date range or see ALL

You can also choose what you wantt o see in the report, including the show number from which they booked.

You also see the Notes from the booking area where you added the booking.  I put the host from whom they booked there, so I don't have to look up the #, I can see, booked from Susie Host's 6/2007 party, and it's a good reminder of how long they have to hold the show.
