- The Law of the Coven -
This is the Law of the Coven
by the head, the heart and the thigh
And the Witche who obeys it shall prosper
And the Witche who breaks it shall die
The Book is the right of the Priestess,
to keep, read and recite.
And the eye that reads it untutored,
shall quickly lose it’s sight.
The sword is the right of the Mistress,
to Circle the hallowed ground.
No other hand shall wield it, on pain
of removing Earth ground.
The Knife is right of the Coven.
Each Witche shall fashion her own
with a blade of iron metal,
and a handle of wood or Stone.
To question is the right of the novice,
and all who know shall teach.
Let those who thirst be sated,
to the limit of their reach.
Worship is the right of the Goddess,
in the ancient frolic some way.
When Earth and Man were companions,
and worship was lusty and gay.
And this is the Law of the Coven,
by the head, the heart and the thigh.
And the Witche who obeys it shall prosper.
And the Witche who breaks it shall die.
