 Your Animal Spirit for Today Lizard
Are you dreaming a dream that's big enough? If Lizard has appeared before you today, the gauntlet has been thrown down, the challenge made. Stop hiding your light beneath a rock—be willing to be bigger than life, to dream bigger than your imagination, to throw caution to the wind, and aim for the target you've spent a lifetime avoiding. Ancient and adaptable, that is lizard. Lizards emerge from the earth, timeless, with prehistoric roots. They are among the most adaptable of all animals and live in both wet and dry environments. They can walk vertically up the surface of a rock or crawl upside down. Some even change color, and for this remarkable ability, we call lizard the magician.
Lizard, alligator, and crocodile can slow down their metabolism with a drop in body temperature. They warm and cool themselves in harmony with the earth. They can survive for long periods without food, fasting until food becomes available. Slow moving or still for hours, yet they can react with lightening speed. Lizard is wild and primitive with a deep connection to the earth.
Alligators are not social. They are detached, but not aggressive unless threatened. They are skilled hunters with powerful jaws that can crush bones. Alligator is fierce in the protection of her young.
Lizard says, "We have been here forever. Do not forget us. We are born under the stones of your medicine wheel." When you see out the eyes of lizard, you are surrounded by an ancient stillness that is timeless and beautiful.
Lizard is about survival and detachment.

Lion
Lion is passion, fire, and power. Lion represents the manifestation of love and power in your life. Lions bring lovers together and bind them as one. They will show themselves to lovers, protect them and give them babies. If you want a lover, lion will bring one to you.
Lion calls you. The lion directs your gaze not inward but outward. Lion teaches you to see the truth as it is in the outer world. Lion shows us how to see what is happening and what has happened. Lion lives, with passion and power, in the world as it is.
The lion shows us how to move with elegance and grace. She shows us how to be at home in our body's power.
Lion will help you meet your basic needs and desires, for he gets what he wants. When he relaxes in the full, high noon sun, he roars with strength and power. He is surrounded by the pride and community, inclusive of old and young, by lovers and babies, and draws his strength from community. The collective energies of the group make hunting possible and fulfill basic needs. The lion lives in balance, resting to conserve energy, yet always ready for the chase. When you see through the eyes of the lion, you will learn to get what you need in life in balance with what surrounds you. This is the lion's strength and passion.
The lion is cool, keen, directive, private. He covers a wide range and he is independent yet connected. He watches carefully, stalks, pauses, encircles his goal, then attacks. He often succeeds. When lion walks beside you, you are protected, strong, and empowered. Lion is a manifestation of energy, fearless actualization of forms in the world. Lion is passion in love, power in manifestation.
Lion says, "We have always been lovers. Our spirit can appear anywhere and take you. We can show ourselves to you on the roof of your house; the road in front of your car. We appear in the colors of the sunset, huge and pregnant, telling you that your lover is always with you."
The lion is about strength, passion, and power.

Set aside time each day to work exclusively on your creative interests. Long walks may help to stimulate your creative adrenaline. Spirituality: If you’ve been living your spiritual beliefs in the abstract, now is the time to test them out if your daily life. If you believe that you live in a safe universe, but have three dead bolt locks on your door, an infallible security system, and carry a weapon, what kind of message is this sending to your higher self? | Lynx animal totem The ancient Greeks attributed such powerful eyesight to the lynx that they believed the cat was even able to see through mountains.
European folklore thought the lynx to be a strange combination of dog and panther. By Medieval times, claims of the creature's bizarre biological makeup, coupled with its purported remarkable eyesight, made it a perfect symbolic representation of the supernatural composition and all-seeing
powers of Christ.
Native Americans took note of the lynx's hypnotic eyes, with their magnetic powers of seduction, and translated that attribute into numerous folktales in which the cat convinces one of its "relatives" to come closer. In each instance, the hungry lynx, no longer in need of flattery or a hypnotic gaze,
