The continent of Lemuria (MU) situated in what is now the Pacific Ocean, had been a land of gentle, spiritual people, the guides wrote while Atlantis drew souls of a more scientific, technological inclination, Air travel was later introduced by visitors from outer space and developed by atlanteans who made use of many- faceted crystal (the great Crystal) that provided means of propulsion for air-craft and ships.

It was by such travel, according to the guides, that delegates from all regions of the planet gathered in Atlantis for conferences on ways to get rid of the Earth of giant beasts that threatened human safety and had forced Lemurians to live largely underground for many generations.

(This statement feels so right to me when I was a kid I’d wake up fearing dinosaurs were going to eat me but I was safe in a cave of which I used the covers for but it was so real and the fear was so strong I could actually smell and feel the beasts breath. Even before I’d heard of the name Lemuria I knew the name of Mu and had actually wrote it down in some papers I found of my childhood and I knew it to be a very large Island.)

Lemuria met with ultimate destruction the guides wrote, in a planetary shift of the Earth on it’s axis some fifty thousand years ago. Alerted in advance by space visitors who could observe ominous signs of change from their vantage point beyond the Earth’s atmosphere, many Lemurians heeded the warnings that were echoed by the wise men among them and migrated to other lands in north and south America, parts of Asia and Africa. When that long awaited cataclysm at last occurred, according to the guides, nearly all of Mu sank into the Pacific, except for Easter Island and parts of Hawaii, and elsewhere new Mountains, Were thrust upward continents changed shape, many growing in size and others yielding vast portions of their land to the sea.

Much of Atlantis survived that shift, the guides claimed, though new positioning of the Earth’s poles brought about a major change in its climate. The Atantean civilization prevailed for another twenty thousand years, until misuse of the Great Crystal caused a sudden nuclear-type explosion which released pressure "greater than that at Hiroshima by ten hundred thousand times," causing storms and tidal waves, sinking large portions of that continent, and triggering the great flood that is described in the bible as well in numerous other civilizations from the Chaldeans to the American Indians. Then some eight thousand years later Atlantean scientists again tinkering with the crystal set off final earthquakes that caused most of what was left of Atlantis to sink into the sea, except for islands such as Bermuda, and Bimini.

( I have also heard and believe that the souls of those scientists and aggressive peoples of Atlantis are here at this time and continuing in their destructive and uncaring ways, where the souls of Lemuria are here to try and advance those same Atlantian souls, that is our quest.)
