Crystal Children

 Who they are

Crystal Children are individuals that have a crystalline aura; such an aura is not a particular color but rather, it has the physical appearance of crystalline (an interlocking, lattice-like appearance). Crystal Children are extremely empathic and mildly to moderately telepathic; however, besides these metaphysical abilities, Crystal Children also possess moderate to strong psionic abilities. Like Indigo Children, Crystal Children do not have to be children. That being said, it is important to note that, though Crystal individuals can be both child and adult, there are not many adult Crystals; that is mostly due to the fact that most Crystals that are upon the Earth today have not been alive long enough to become adults yet.

The reason for the Crystal individuals being in the minority (and having always been throughout most of human history) is essentially because of the high sensitivity that these individuals (both child and adult alike) possess to the natural and artificial environment around them. From what anthropological sources have shown, as human history was in its beginnings, Crystal individuals were relatively prevalent during that time and thrived. That prevalence and thriving nature of the Crystal at that time, just as today, was determined by the environment in which they lived. During those times within human history, nature was natural and artificial environment simply did not exist outside of the use of fire; intuition and premonition abilities were essential for things such as obtaining food, water, shelter, and possibly communication. The portion of the human brain that aids in the use of metaphysical and psionic abilities was used to a much greater extent than it is today. Artificial environment has brought the human mind to a place that leaves metaphysical and psionic abilities unneeded, and that fact leaves Crystals in a very hazardous situation within today’s society. Crystals must be able to use their metaphysical and psionic abilities due to the manner in which their brain develops chemically (which is somewhat different from others, unlike Indigos). With the progression of technology and the manner in which it affects everyones�?lives, the Crystals will always be in the minority. They are few and far in between in this day in age, but some are born each year (approximately 1 in ever 100,000 individuals). Their lives are beyond difficult for those that do make it to adulthood, and it does not get much easier from adulthood onward; though, by this time, the Crystal does learn to use their abilities in a controlled manner.

The most apparent and certainly most noticeable characteristics fro the child Crystal are their evident psionic and advanced metaphysical abilities. These abilities usually manifest themselves after the first 3 months of birth in highly uncontrolled, erratic occurrences but by the time the infant turns 9-months to a year old, they will begin to express some control over their psionic abilities. It is not until the child is between 4 and 6 that there will be minimal control expressed over their metaphysical abilities and that control will become greater as time goes by. By the age of 10, the child Crystal will have a much greater control over both psionic and metaphysical abilities.

Through the teenage years, the life of the child Crystal is not especially trying any more than it would be for anyone else, but the occasional expression of their abilities, especially metaphysical abilities, will become very apparent despite all attempts to conceal such abilities; this is due to the considerable increase in the chemical levels within the brain that coincide with the strong empathic and mild to moderate telepathic ability that the Crystal individual possesses. This may present some awkwardness and obvious psychological dilemmas for the individual but with patience, understanding, and professional help, if needed, the child Crystal is certainly capable of making it through their teenage and young adult years to go on to be non-institutionalized, productive members of adult society.

  Under the microscope

Unlike the Indigo Children, the Crystal Children are not prone to some of the more common ailments associated with Indigos such as ADD and ADHD. There is no known reason for this other than the theory that the difference in brain chemistry and usage lowers the risk for such disorders. The difference does, however, directly result in a higher incidence of Epilepsy and other seizure-causing disorders with Crystal individuals. The Crystal brain does not have a different physical structure, just slightly different chemical make-up which allows for the alternative brain usage which occurs in these individuals; this difference mainly occurs with the increase in neurotransmitters and the levels of serotonin. Genetically-speaking, there is a gene responsible for someone being a Crystal individual; that gene's name is currently held as classified information, but its nature is that of what is called a mutation in the genetics community. A mutation is a gene that is altered from the original DNA; this makes the Crystalline gene similar to any number of mutations that cause a disorder. Being Crystalline is not a disorder, though, the difference is in the manner in which the gene affects the human body and mind; the disease-causing mutation does it in a negative manner on a continual basis and constantly replicates, the Crystalline mutation does not replicate and does not work in antigenic fashion.

There is a common aspect of reasoning that the adult Indigo will, when they become in-tuned enough with their abilities and necessary knowledge is gained, essentially become a Crystal. This is not accurate because the Indigo’s aura does not change to that of a Crystal’s, and there is also no occurrence of the brain “changing�?in chemical make-up and usage to that which is present with the Crystal individual. What the adult Indigo will experience, however, is a shift in the way that their abilities are used and how knowledge is taken in by the brain. These two occurrences are not caused by a structural change of the brain (that would be something out of a science-fiction novel) but rather, these are occurrences caused by an increase in the already-present chemical cocktail that exists within the human brain. This increase is normal for any human but with the addition of metaphysical abilities that Indigos possess, that increase gives a heightened sensation to what would normally occur.

Two final medical-related notes with concern to the Crystal individual: There is a distinct trend for the Crystal to be more sensitive to energy (both artificial and natural) than most would. There is also very clear evidence of the child Crystal being delayed in mental gender recognition than others. Mental gender recognition means simply that someone is capable of recognizing such things as what differentiates males from females emotionally and in regards to sociological gender roles. Crystal individuals seem to all but lack this ability to recognize such until they are between the ages of 5 and 8, whereas, others are capable of this recognition between the ages of 2 and 3. This is not to say that all Crystal individuals are homosexual or bisexual, nor does this prove the controversy that homosexuality is a born characteristic (science will diminish from all of existence before that controversy is proven no doubt); though, as with anyone else, that possibility still exists.

  Closing notes

It is important to remember that the Crystal individual is inherently human; they are prone to the same problems and positive life experiences that anyone other human is prone to. Mistakes will most certainly be made just as with anyone else. The Crystal individual is not a “mutant�?or subspecies of humans; they are completely human as we know the human race today but just happen to be born with abilities that exceed what many know to be “normal�? that is no reason to condemn, hate, or fear them; they should be respected, loved, and cared for just as anyone else, Indigo, Crystal, disabled individual, foreigner, or the average person walking down the street should be respected, loved, and cared for.
