As the weather becomes warmer and the world of nature comes to life,
we are powerfully drawn to the outside world. Once spring has come, we
are able to travel around much more than during the long months of
winter. When setting out for a nature walk or a long journey, call upon
the old gods with this magical charm and prayer:
May the gods bless the pathway on which I pass, and the Earth
beneath my feet.
Bless the things of my desire every step of the journey on which I go.
May the gods be with me on every mountain and the goddesses in every
stream, the spirits be with me in every meadow, on sea and land, on
crest and wave.
Be a smooth path before me,
Be a guiding star above me,
Be a keen eye behind me,
Bless my journey
Each step of the way.
