Do you always listen when you hear

Or is it just another distraction to your own selfishness?

Are you the master of the nodding head?

Ready to pounce on a moment's silence between words

Hearing nothing but your own voice

Can be a dangerous game

You can't play to an empty theatre!

I guess that if a person wants to be creative and boost their ego, instead of listening and praising their own voice, they have to include others in their creativity. Art is meant to be shared and enjoyed. Without that, what's the point?

Nice poem, Mick, but I'm not with Candy either with you.

A poet is a spirit who just speaks out because so he needs to do. In the moment his words come it does'nt matter if there is or there will be audience or not.

In this I'm actually at the contrary of what all suggest to whom who want to write. They say that the writer should seat on the reader's seat. For me as that the writer would be false.

After, if the poet will show his words, then it will be a way to communicate. In that moment will be the reader to seat on the writer's seat.

But the moment a poet gets out his words he is a voice in the desert, he is absoluteliy alone.

Well, so I feel it.

Ciao

Well said. I guess everyone has their own point of view when it comes to why and how people express themselves. Some people are creative simply for their own sake, while others write for other people: like me. It is really down to personal choice.
