Ocker, the area I live in here in Canada, is known for temperate winters. Not often do we get snow. In fact two nights ago, was the first time this winter, and only got about 1/4". I have seen 4-6", but it doesn't last much more than two or three days. Funny I was noticing the other morning with the snow, the flowering trees. Nice contrast, knowing that spring is in the air. It's a com'n now only 13 days to go as of the writing of this entry. In Victoria, there have been already recorded 3 billion flowers. This city is well known for it's flowering plants. I don't know if you have heard of it, but Buchard Garden's is located not too far from that city. |
