Warning!!!
If you are of faint of heart, or very sensative, do not read the following article, for it is an actual and very truthful experience, that just took place in my life.
I have explained in past, that I suffer from Asthma. This can be a very dibilitating disease, depending on the individual. It truly affects one's respitory system, as well as the length of time, we have been given to exist in this life Also what we can learn, or confirm from not only reading about it, but in actuality, personally experiencing it. I must also truthfully express, in the process of writing this, I am not presently in any danger. Had I been a different individual, that would be a totally different outcome.
Use your imagination as you begin to read what follows, and think of how you, or people you know, might or possibly would react, if Ihad taken place in their life. You have been thoroughly warned.
Imagine awakening from a night's sleep, and your mind, remembering a portion of your dream. It in volved reacting to an individual on the net, that did not seem to understand what you had expressed. In actuality you have the feeling to react, but this is beside the point, for what you are about to actually and truthfully experience.
You have just awoken, and take your first morning's breath. As you do so, your lungs only inhale approximetly 50% of what would be considered a normal breath. You try once again, and have the same experience. 50% of your normal capacity, is all you are able to inhale. Do you panic, gasping over and over, possibly risking Cardiac Arrest, or would you instantaniously become very very patient and reserved, breathing very very very slowly, so that your Brochial Tubes and Lungs in operation to extract the amount of Oxygen from the atmosphere, is able to function properly? Somehow I have the feeling that most would panic and gasp.
It is true, just how much Oxygen it takes for our bodies to function correctly. Just for us to stand or raise an arm, let alone walking, and our normal basic daily movement patterns. Ten years ago, I experienced just that, not being able to stand, to walk, let alone raise an arm over my head. That was very much a deciding experience, and one that landed me not only into the Emergency Room, but as well to be inhabated. Yes, all those tubes and lines that the medical professionals being inserted into differenct areas of my body, only to continue to encourage one thing, life. I sincerily hope, that none reading this piece, will ever have to experience this, as it is a dibilitating once one comes to conciousness, let alone the removal of any one of them.
I have no doubt in my mind, that there is a question in your's. "Why is this man, being so unbelievably graphic?" To impress upon those reading this article, that if you wish to continue your, shall I say, "bad habit" this may be what is in store for you. Being told that they had to bring you back to life 5 times, is definitely scary to say the least.
At your disposal, is an Inhaler, that if used will, in most normal cases, help to break up any blockages within your Lungs, and you use it, breathing in only as deeply as you have been allowed to. Then you hold it for at least 10 seconds before exhaling it, only to find that your breathing has not improved one tiny bit. Again, do you panic, or continue to be as patient as you possibly can, knowing your own capacity to solve this, what could be to some, and insermountable and very mucy a life ending problem?
I could have, in this possibly very critical situation, paniced, but also, am so aware, that panicing would only shorten my life considerably. Over a period of approximetly 30 minutes, all of this time, breathing, exceptionally slowly, and using my inhaler, I resolved my problem, without having to call Professional Assistance.
What is one able to learn from this? True patience, total and unending patience. It was once said, so long ago, "Patience Is A Virtue" and yes, about one and a half hours ago, if I had not been truly patient with myself, I would not be sitting here, writing about it, informing you, of one of the unfortunate hazards of having a much higher level of Asthma within your life.
You'll have to excuse me now, as I wish to return to slumber. My eyes are beginning to get rather heavy. Ya, a couple more hours of normal human sleep, awakening to a normal world? lol
