I found myself in a state of frustration,
so i began to scratch.
Soon i felt the soothing sensation,
like the sound of a lighting match.
As my torn nails found their way,
my frenzy climbed to the max.
Frantic in all my dismay,
my fear began to relax.

I felt the confusion,
as it began to ooze.
This is no dillusion.
I was the one to choose.

I lay back and began to smile,
lying in a state of ease.
I dont have to be me for a while,
I'm away witht he birds and bees.
You won't understand me
and I cant explain,
I'm trying to be free
and rid of the pain.

Mike.

I also have no idea on what to name your poem. Perhpas "Whiling [I think that's the right spelling!] Away the Hours". Or "The Itch".

If I had to guess on a title personally I'd title it: "Four Twenty"
Just a thought.

For myself personally, I have found, that I look into what I have just created, and most times, I find a phrase within it, that describes, what I am saying, and can very easily be used as a title.

Is there any word or phrase within yours that you feel totally comfortable in using as the title to your well expressed creation?

i like all the titles you have given but even now over half a year down the line i tink it shall stay unnamed.

broken passion, i can see what you mean about it seeming dirty but it was aimed at self harm as apposed to masturbation haha.

maybe i will call it "deep clensing" ?

Mike.
