I approve! Um, now, I do believe MB is coming out with hybrids too. I know BMW is, and in fact I think GM, MB and BMW worked together to pioneer hybrid platforms for themselves, and share costs. I think those are the three....GM and MB were definitely two of them, and I believe Bimmer was the third.
Anyway, I like it. I've always like Tahoes, and the new model is way better than the last one. My dad just bought a Malibu Hybrid, and so I can't wait to get behind the wheel of that to see how the GM hybrid system works. I'm not a sedan buyer, but I always love driving new technology and so if it's good, I myself might get a Tahoe Hybrid one day. Even though they'll be paying us to fill up our tanks pretty soon, lol, given that gas is so cheap, I still think it's crucial for us to limit the amount of money we spend on gas since so much of it goes to the middle east. I belive the Tahoe/Escalde/Yukon hybrid advertises 21mpgCity and 20hway.....and what I do recall is that you can drive on the battery alone for speeds up to 35mph. The only thing i dislike about them is some of the styling differences. I don't like the smaller wheels, first. Also, the tailpipe is ridiculously long and it just hangs down low, like it' from the 70s. And i don't like all the giant stickers. So, if I get one, I'm ordering it with better wheels, and having all the stickers ripped off at the dealer, lol. And I'll saw that tailpipe off myself. Wait, i never checked, but i assume you can still get 4wd in hybrid, right?
Anyway teq, it's a good purchase. Maybe you can borrow it and meet me in my snowy Appalaichan mountain retreat
