I am joining tonight and I am soooo excited!

*YAY*

our work started a company program there for us, and I only have to pay $15 a month, no registration fees, and it is on a month-to0month basis, so you can quit any time.

woo hoo!

last night I did 2 miles on the treadmill in 36 minutes - only 5 of those minutes was jogging, the rest was fast walking...

but hey, it's a start!

I felt really good afterwards, too. It really energized me.

Good for you!

I love going to the gym.  I always feel better when I'm done.  I've found that I sleep better, have more energy, and just all around feel less umm, what's the word I'm looking for...less "heavy"?  You know what I mean?

It's official - I just joined 24 Hour Fitness - so now that I am actually paying for it I'm sure I will continue to take advantage of it. I feel sooo much better on the days that I work out! And I have already noticed a few small changes...

Ok, so last night I did the 5K (3.2 miles) in 52 minutes and 47 seconds.

I am going to keep track of how fast I am doing it in so I can see my progress.

Tha's a little over 16 1/2 minutes per mile - I didn't push myself too hard, but I made sure to do a "hilly" course, with varying inclines, etc.

okay, last night I nearly killed myself doing the 5K in:

44 minutes 45 seconds...

so that is a little over 14 minute/mile average

yay

Awesome!  I joined LA Fitness a few weeks ago and have noticed a HUGE difference in my energy levels.  My goal, now that I've lost the weight, is to be really toned for my wedding in January.
