I haven't watched this - but I had a friend telling me all about it first season - so what's been discovered? Are thses people lost between this life and the next? Or being experimented on by some organization or government? What? |

It's a very complicated show. Everything you've asked is possible...... If you are interested, I would suggest that you rent the DVD's by season like J did to catch up. The season finale is next Thursday so if you rented them during the hiatus, you would be caught up by the time the show resumes next winter. |

So they still haven't solved this mystery? I'm not sure I have the patience to watch that many shows - knowing when I'm done I still won't know! But maybe I'll get bored this summer! |

I would love to get all seasons on DVD and just do a marathon of sorts. So many things happened years ago that I'm extremely fuzzy on them, especially brief scenes that weren't tied into for another season or two...
There's a part of me that wishes I'd never seen any of it, so I could do that. It's unfortunate, but when they were going like 8 or 9 months in between seasons, I would forget so much and lost my ability to track it all.
Some of the decisions the writers have made have really made me sad or angry (lol), but otherwise I think they did a good job of creating an entire world with many layers, many time periods, many interesting characters, and even cleaning up after the folly that was season 2, lol.
