Very few players come back and cut it for a second time and I would be surprised if he were to be one of these.

 

I must admit I liked him but no way will he ever be a natural goalscore like Boyd although his record in the big games was not too bad. It would be interesting to see his game and goal ratio in games against Celtic compared to Boyd's, who, for all the negative things that is said about his record against them, hasn't actually started many games against them.
