Using Aromatherapy to Overcome Loneliness
By Francoise Rapp
It's not uncommon for people today to have an overwhelming feeling of isolation in a world paradoxically focused on new communication technology. I come across many clients in my practice who suffer from loneliness. They anguish over not having more closeness in their lives, over a certain timidity that prevents them from relating freely with others. How they wish they could open themselves up to new relationships! They find themselves continually searching for a connection and loyal bond to nourish their inner selves.
Does this sound familiar? If you're suffering from similar feelings of solitude, I offer you three aromatic recipes to help you awaken your sense of self, calm your fear of loneliness, unfold your self-love, and provide an awareness that you are full, rich and so gifted by life. By caring for yourself as you would care for your partner or friends, you will feel more full, much less alone, and less reliant on others to fill your emotional needs.
Each recipe should be made by pouring the oil essences into a 10-ml bottle and adding vegetable oil to fill.
