Iridology

Do you believe that looking into someone's eyes can tell you something about their health? There is a science called Iridology that does just that. By looking into the iris of the eye, an experienced practitioner can determine the integrity of tissue in the various organs of the body. Professional Iridologists agree that acute, sub-acute, chronic, and degenerative conditions of the body are all reflected in the iris.

How is this possible? If you know anything about reflexology, you know that most body organs can actually be "worked" by massaging the hands and feet or other body parts in a certain way. Just as the main circuits to every organ, gland, and nerve in your body have endings in your hands and feet, they also have nerve endings in the iris of your eye. The iris of the eye has hundreds of thousands of nerve endings that are connected to the brain and connected to every part of the body. Inherent weaknesses will show up along with the results of unhealthy living habits. Looking into the iris of the eye is like looking at a map of the whole body to see where there is strength or weakness.

What is most valuable about Iridology is the fact that weakness in body tissues or organs often shows up in the eye before it shows up in medical tests. A person pre-disposed to diabetes, for example, is likely to have an orange coloration in the digestive zone of the iris. That person can take herbs which will feed the pancreas and help it build up the organ with the nutrients it needs for optimal functioning.

Iridologists look for the following indications in the iris. The iris can show whether the person has a strong or weak constitution and whether the skin is eliminating well. Many health experts say that a dirty colon is the beginning of all disease. The iris can reveal if the colon is eliminating well or if it is blocked up with waste matter or constricted in any way. The iris of the eye indicates whether the immune system is being overworked in the body. Sodium rings and cholesterol rings in the eye reveal an excess of sodium or cholesterol in the body. Over acid or under acid conditions are also discernible.

Nerve rings are readily visible in the eye, revealing that the nervous system is undergoing tremendous stress. Drug deposits and environmental toxins also show up in the eye. Parasite lines are readily visible in the eye. The person can then do a cleanse to eliminate parasites from his or her body.

An experienced iridologist can observe the general health of each body system by looking at particular zones in the eye.
