I've been having a similar dream recently. I had it again the other day so I remembered it better.
I go into this house across the yard. The outside of the house needs some work. It has a porch and the wood is kind of beat up, it could use a paint job, etc..
Inside the house is a hallway and somehow I am able to get into a secret room at the end of the hallway.
There was a small flying saucer in the room that had a crystal inside of it. The flying saucer went up to the moon and caused an explosion which was causing shock waves here on earth.
I think this dream is representing me going into these message boards. The room with my computer in it is at the end of the hallway. When I come into these message boards we talk about Atlantis and many other strange ideas.
The secrecy part about the room is I feel some of the things we talk about are mysterious.
John Van Auken recommends when we first wake up don't move. Try to remember what you dreamed about and write it down. Once we get out of bed and start doing things the conscious mind takes over and we forget our dreams.
The dream state is interesting since it involves another state of consciousness (the subconscious). In dreams the subconscious converts our thoughts and fears into symbols. For example when you see someone in a dream it may not represent that actual person but rather someone that the person in the dream reminds you of. There's also a super concsious or the 'oversoul'.
Part of the training that the initates went through in ancient Egypt was to study about the different levels of consciousness. They felt the oversoul was like a separate person called the 'Khua' and they associated the oversoul with the god Osiris.
I went to a hypnotist a few times to try to do some past life regression and the hypnotist also talked to my subconscious mind as if it was a separate person.
I think what I'm trying to do to easily see many past lives isn't that easy. This is something those Egyptian initiates were able to do but only after a lot of training and preparation.
