Yes I have heard this before. Cayce stated that Christ was joking around on the way to the crucifixion.
I'm planning on re-ordering the hard cover version of the book "Edgar Cayce's Story Of Jesus". I want to read it again. I gave my other one away to this girl many years ago.
Cayce fills in many of the missing pieces that aren't in the bible like what was Christ doing during the so called 'missing years'. He was travelling with his cousin John The Baptist.
Also interesting was that the story in the bible about Joseph and Mary not being able to find a room at the inn isn't totally accurate. Cayce said that many people were aware of the mysterious circumstances surrounding the pregnancy and they had made preparations in advance.
Also one of the Essene priestesses had tried to 'trick' Herod so she told the three magi to go and talk to Herod. This wreckless act almost caused the death of the Christ child and forced the holy family to flee to Egypt.
There are quite a few books out where Cayce explains and expands on the scriptures.
Cayce said in one of his past lives he had written the Acts Of The Apostles I think or some other part of the bible.
In another life he was one of the 'angels' who accompanied God when God visited Abraham and Sarah. That angel later went to Sodom and blinded the perverts.
