I've been made aware recently that God has His angels protecting people, as well as all of His creation.. including the Animal and Plant Kingdoms. The beings that take care of Creation on Earth -- to me are a form of angel in a sense.
I met a fairie this past May the morning after a huge fight in our family. I was depressed and was not thinking of all my many prayers to see a fairie that day. Then I saw her looking up at me through a section of my hair and she was very soft and beautiful--- resembling a human, yet also an insect to some extent. Compassion was in her eyes, as I'm sure she felt my depression over the tension in my family.
Seeing her changed my life. I made a more conscious effort to beautify our yard, pick up garbage, transplant tree seedlings instead of just throwing them away, help turtles off the road from harms way, etc..
A week after my sighting, I then had this dream, right before I woke up for work .
That following morning, right before I woke up for work, I heard a woman's voice singing in very sweet high notes these words: "You are helping the flower to seed; All things are precious"
It was so beautiful and full of light! As soon as I got out of bed, I quickly wrote the verse down in my journal so I would never forget it. .
It inspires me more to continue to do my part to help join these Nature Guardians and be a good steward for God's Creation. His animals, plants, insects , and people.
Just today I planted more flowers around the yard.. to attract butterflies.. and to make those in the Fairie Realm pleased

Spirited lioness, I havn't seen any fairie lights yet, but I've talked with two people who have. One woman over at the Ning.com forums told me she had her window open at night, and was playing music that the Fae are known to like. Not too far from her window, she saw some lights dancing in a circle near the ground.
Then when I told my experience to a friend I met at a holistic fair, she mentioned how she never saw a fairie , but HAD seen lights..., and they weren't fireflies.
I always thought fairies must look like little barbie dolls with wings, but the one I saw was not like that. I only could see her face through my hair, but she was not human. She had brown soft eyes with no irises.. sort of how bird's eyes look.
They were not scary or dark looking.. she actually had a softness and compassion about her which she directed towards me. It lifted me out of my depression.
I still feel guilty that I gawked at her. Staring at her face seems so rude now , and I regret that . Maybe I didn't waste my encounter by gawking at HER her facial features, I would have learned something from her as another fellow being who loves this Earth. Maybe she realizes that some of us humans aren't the best in ettiquette.
Since my experience, I'm reading up on fairies.. not the fantasy books, but the ones where other people actually have met them. Ted Andrew's "Enchantment of the Fairie Realm" is a good honest one.
I've been visiting alot of websites where people post their own encounters too. This experience really changed my life .
