above. Since time immemorial, the initiates, the great masters

of humanity, have continuously transmitted the same knowledge to

their disciples: they teach that, from the atom to the archangels

and all the way to God, life is one continuous hierarchy of

beings all linked to each other, each one constituting one part

of that immense living organism which is the universe.

We humans are found placed somewhere on this ladder of

creatures. Above and below us are beings that are linked to us.

This link exists, whether we know it or not and whether we wish

it or not. But it’s essential for us to be conscious of this and

to work at relating to the beings above us, who will take us with

them, higher and higher."
