Stir your starter on days 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9. Day 5: Transfer starter into a larger container and add 1 cup plain flour, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup milk.
Day 10: Add as you did on Day 5; put 1 cup in 3 different containers.
Give 2 away with this recipe and keep 1 for yourself to make another starter.
Add to the remaining batter the oil, 1 cup sugar, 2 cups flour, eggs, vanilla, salt, cinnamon, soda, baking powder and any optional ingredients. Spray 2 loaf pans with PAM and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake 40-45 minutes at 350 degrees.
Cool 10 minutes in pans.
