Cantonese Chrispy Batter Mix  Use this all-purpose batter for deep frying Shrimp, chicken, fish, or Mushrooms.   Combine in a bowl;   ¾ cup All-purpose Flour 1 ¼ tsp. Baking Powder. 1 tsp. Sugar Gradually stir in 2/3 cup Water.   Blend in 2 tsp. Vegetable Oil with a wire whisk until smooth.   Let stand for about 1 ½ hours before using.      Makes, about 1 cup.  |
