Batty passed away on Saturday at 12:30pm!  Vet said it was old age.  I guess he was older than I thought he was.  Took him home and buried him and put daisy seeds near him.  I miss him terribly!  Saturday after I buried Batty, Angel was saying: Batty Come Mere!  Later that day he was saying: Where's Batty!  Made me soooo sad!

 

Sunday we went to the city and bought a Male green and yellow parakeet.  He is in his own cage and will be there for a while til he gets used to me.  When we got home and tried to put him in the cage he got away from us and was flying in the birds room thank goodness the room isn't very big.  When I caught him he bit me, and he bit me hard and wouldn't let go til I took my hand from his body!  I caught him with two hands!  We haven't named him yet.  I want to see what his personallity is like.

 

I was talking to my little sister and she said she knows someone who wants to get rid of a parakeet.  All she knows is that it is yellow.  And that I will be getting the cage as well.  Good thing cause I nor she knows if it is a female or male.  But I told her I would take it.  From what she said, nobody ever played with it or talked to it.  It will have a good home here with us.
