More on the Mark of the Beast

I will now give you some more places where the mark of the beast is identified in the Word of God.

Isa 5:23 Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him! 5:24 Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

Now the above verses speak of those who justify the wicked FOR REWARD. So, who does this? Your preachers and all who wish to find favor with the people, instead of teaching them the truth. They make you to feel at ease in your sins, to keep you coming to their programs and of course, putting that money into their pot. That is what the reward is speaking of. This is a sure way to end up in hell, listening to those who say you are fine in your sins, so you will give them money. How do they take away the righteousness from the righteous? By saying you are all ok in your sins. Therefore, the ones who try to live without sinning are put down. But see that verse 24 shows that these who justify the wicked for reward, will be consumed as stubble, with the fire of God’s wrath.

Their ‘root?is as rottenness. What is their ‘root? It is the very beginning of this beast thing of doing the work of God for reward, or money. Where is that beginning? It is back in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Cain. They are the first ones to sell out for MONEY. They loved gold, silver and precious stones. They loved big fancy buildings. That is the root of this mark of the beast. That mark was placed on Cain. It is in the spirit. It is not a physical mark. Those who justify for reward have cast away the law of the LORD and despised his Word. This explains why people get so upset when I prove with the Word that this love for money is the mark of the beast. They despise the Word of God, for it shows up their evil. Cain is clearly revealed in Jude as one of the beast who went after reward.

Mic 3:11 The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, Is not the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us. 3:12 Therefore shall Zion for your sake be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest.

The heads are the rulers or those over the people of God. They judge for REWARD. See, the very same thing! The priests teach for HIRE. This is your paid ministers today. The prophets divine for MONEY. Yet they proclaim that God is with them and no evil can come upon them. Yet God said he will destroy the land because of them. So this proves that God does not have anything with these people who are doing this work of God for money or reward. How much plainer could this be? God has set destruction for all who do the work of God for money or reward. It is a damning sin. It is the mark showing that you are a brute beast. It proves you are a hypocrite and this means a serpent. The serpents are the stubble which will be consumed with God’s fire. This is the punishment for having this mark in your soul or forehead.

All of you who think this is NOT the mark, and you know something else which is, then you find and show us in the Scripture as I am doing here. If I find this many things written in God’s Word against doing the work of God for reward, or money, then surely if this is not the mark, and your thoughts are right, then surely it must be written SOMEWHERE in the Word? So show it.

1Peter 5:2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; 5:3 Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock. 5:4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

Here Peter gave instructions to those who stand and feed the sheep of God. He said we must do this work willingly and not for FILTHY LUCRE. Money is only considered to be filthy when it is given for reward for doing this work of God. Nowhere is it shown that money which is paid for doing a natural job is filthy. See that he said those who do this work, not for reward or money will receive a crown of glory when Jesus appears. See then, that it was dependant upon not receiving this filthy lucre, or money, for feeding the flock, as to their receiving this holy crown.

Tit 1:7 For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;

Tit 1:8 But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;

Tit 1:9 Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers. Tit 1:10 For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:

Tit 1:11 Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.

Tit 1:12 One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies. Tit 1:13 This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;

Paul taught here that a bishop must not be given to filthy lucre. Again, filthy lucre means receiving or giving money to pay for someone doing a work of God. It is never called filthy under any other circumstances. See that it said they TEACH FOR FILTHY LUCRE. He said REBUKE them sharply for this. So, that is what I am attempting to do, rebuke those who deny this truth and teach or divine for MONEY OR REWARD. This is the mark of the beast. Those who do this are the beast God is speaking of in the Word. It does not mean animals.

What was the trait of the one disciple of Jesus, who did not receive salvation? It was his love for money. John 13:29 For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those things that we have need of against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.

See, Judas carried the bag of money. He betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver. Thus he sold Jesus for money. This was his mark, that he was a beast, and not a sheep of God. It cost him his soul.

Acts 1:16 Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus. Ac 1:17 For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry. Acts 1:18 Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.

See that Judas had receive the REWARD OF INIQUITY, which was his pay for betraying Jesus. This showed he had this mark of being a beast. It cost him his soul. He loved money more than Jesus or eternal life. He was MARKED. He was a thief.

John 12:3 Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment. 12:4 Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him, 12:5 Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?

John 12:6 This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.

See here, that Judas was a thief and hated that Mary did not sell that perfume and put the money in his bag so he could steal it. He was marked in his forehead. He was a beast.

I have already shown this, but it needs to be in this message also. This is another man who proved he had this mark of the beast, even though he had believed, been baptized, and might have even received the Holy Ghost.

Acts 8:18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,

Ac 8:19 Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost. 8:20 But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.

Ac 8:21 Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God. 8:22 Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee. 8:23 For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.

This is a powerful indictment against this thing of thinking the things of God may either be bought or sold. See this is showing that Simon had the mark of the beast, even though he had become a believer. He still held to this mark. His mind was set to buying and selling the gifts of God. But see that Peter called it WICKEDNESS, and Iniquity. This is the very wickedness found in that anointed Cherub in the Garden of Eden. It was this love for earthly riches.

Now I will show you by the Word, PROOF that this love for money is this ROOT we spoke of. It started in Eden:

1Tim 6:3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;

1Tim 6:4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,

1Tim 6:5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain. 6:7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

1ti 6:8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. 1ti 6:9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

1Tim 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

6:11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. 6:13 I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession; 1ti 6:14 That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Anyone who is of a willing and sane mind, can clearly see from the above Scripture that this love of money is that ROOT of rottenness which had its beginning in Eden with Adam and Cain. It is the very ROOT, or beginning of ALL EVIL. So, then for it to be the ROOT, or beginning of ALL EVIL, it has to cover the iniquity back there in Adam. That root is in Adam. It goes all the way from Eden to the end of this world, where it will be thrown into hellfire and destroyed. See this said some COVETED after this money and therefore ERRED from the FAITH. So this is clearly showing that if you covet money, or love this money, you will not be in the true FAITH. If it caused some to err from the faith, it will cause all who have it to also err. He said for the man of God to FLEE these things and follow after righteousness. So then this love for money is NOT righteousness. See also that he called this a COMMANDMENT, to flee this love of money and lay hold on eternal life. Only a person willfully blinding themselves could fail to see this, it is so plainly stated here. So this proves that this love of money is a damning sin.

Now, let’s examine how the true children of God react when they are offered money to do a work of God. Let’s start with Daniel.

Dan5:11 There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, I say, thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers; 5:12 Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and showing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will show the interpretation.

See Daniel was noted for having wisdom and an excellent spirit, knowledge and understanding, and interpreting of dreams. He had gifts from God. So let’s just see how this person, who could REALLY interpret DREAMS, reacted when presented with this mark of the beast. (Perhaps some who claim to be dream interpreters today should learn from Daniel. Seems they do not have this same understanding).

Dan 5:16 And I have heard of thee, that thou canst make interpretations, and dissolve doubts: now if thou canst read the writing, and make known to me the interpretation thereof, thou shalt be clothed with scarlet, and have a chain of gold about thy neck, and shalt be the third ruler in the kingdom. Da 5:17 Then Daniel answered and said before the king, Let thy gifts be to thyself, and give thy rewards to another; yet I will read the writing unto the king, and make known to him the interpretation.

Now just look at what a REWARD was offered to Daniel, by a king. He offered scarlet clothes, a chain of GOLD, and a place of third ruler in his kingdom. What was he attempting to buy with these gifts? He wanted an interpretation of a writing from God. It was a work of God. So these gifts constituted the mark of the beast. Did Daniel go for these gifts or rewards? Of course NOT. He said give your REWARDS to another, yet I will interpret this writing for you. He did the work of God without REWARD.

He was marked in his forehead also. But it was the mark of God. Notice that the king went ahead and GAVE these gifts to Daniel. But Daniel had refused them as PAY for interpreting the writing. It is not wrong to accept a gift which is freely given. It is wrong to accept or seek it as pay for doing a work for God or in any manner making merchandise of the things of God.

Here is another man of God who refused a reward for doing a service of God: 1Kings 13:6 And the king answered and said unto the man of God, Entreat now the face of the LORD thy God, and pray for me, that my hand may be restored me again. And the man of God besought the LORD, and the king's hand was restored him again, and became as it was before. 1ki 13:7 And the king said unto the man of God, Come home with me, and refresh thyself, and I will give thee a reward. 1ki 13:8 And the man of God said unto the king, If thou wilt give me half thine house, I will not go in with thee, neither will I eat bread nor drink water in this place:

See the king offered this man a reward for praying for his hand. But the man refused this.

Job 7:1 Is there not an appointed time to man upon earth? are not his days also like the days of an hireling? 7:2 As a servant earnestly desireth the shadow, and as an hireling looketh for the reward of his work: 7:3 So am I made to possess months of vanity, and wearisome nights are appointed to me.

This confirms that a hireling is one who looks for a reward for his work. So when a minister accepts pay, or a salary for preaching, he is clearly a hireling. The hirelings are not of God.

Isa 1:21 How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers. 1:22 Thy silver is become dross, thy wine mixed with water: 1:23 Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them. 1:24 Therefore saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies:

See, this confirms that the ones who love gifts and follows after rewards are rebellious and are God’s enemies.

Isa 45:13 I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor REWARD, saith the LORD of hosts.

This is speaking of Jesus, who will set the captives free, doing a work for God without price nor reward. He is marked by God. He is righteous.

Mic 7:2 The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net. 7:3 That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up.

Mic 7:4 The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity.

This shows that these are wicked men, judges, who ask for a reward. This is in the religious world, not out in the secular world. It is speaking of judges of God’s people, not earthly judges.

Now, I want to show you something about destroying this giant evil in our land. What is this giant? The love of money, the root of all evil, the mark of the beast.

1Sam 17:40 And he (David) took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in a shepherd's bag which he had, even in a scrip; and his sling was in his hand: and he drew near to the Philistine.

1sa 17:41 And the Philistine came on and drew near unto David; and the man that bare the shield went before him. 17:43 And the Philistine said unto David, Am I a dog, that thou comest to me with staves? And the Philistine cursed David by his gods. 17:44 And the Philistine said to David, Come to me, and I will give thy flesh unto the fowls of the air, and to the beasts of the field. 17:45 Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.

1sa 17:49 And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth. 17:50 So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David. 17:51 Therefore David ran, and stood upon the Philistine, and took his sword, and drew it out of the sheath thereof, and slew him, and cut off his head therewith. And when the Philistines saw their champion was dead, they fled.

This giant represents the giants of our day, who are the enemies of God. They are the strong holds of Satan. This man represents this mark of the beast. He had the sixes. But David used five stones and smote this giant in the FOREHEAD. This was where he had the mark or knowledge of Satan. David hit this one place and then cut his head off. Thus he shows how we will destroy this head of the mark of the beast in the end. He did this by faith in the name of our God. Those five stones show the ministers of God. We will strike this giant in his forehead and destroy this evil of buying and selling the things of God. This evil church system, so involved in merchandizing will be destroyed, then there will be peace and truth will prevail.
