The tour of duty doth calls...
As the bugle burls with notes of silence
And the armour with cloak sadly furls.....
the closing of the day...
As this beautiful soul rides the waves carried by
the unsung wind ...
the sky of blue ~ succombs with clouds of grey....
For the  unknown Soldier  peacefully sleeps
Eternally he walks in the now towards a loving light..
No more banter nor the rattling of guns....
The doors of heaven open with abundant love
And his maker greets him with loving arms...
"Tis" a sad day as we mourn such loss....
The burden shall be carried upon the wooden cross
The wind has learnt his name
The flame will seal his soul....
And into eternity he shall grow old..
The tears shall fill the sky and eventually flow
As the torrent river emerges with the waves
The sandy beach in the distants
The golden rays of the sun...
Pound and beat with much grief...
As each person whom knew him shall weep.....
The doors of each heart ~ unlocked by a key
Inside the treasure box  precious memories
For all to see .......

May our Father up above
Keep him in thy loving care
Until we all meet again....
