My star

 I have this star that was given to me

 So high in the sky for me to see

 I look out of my window on many a night

There it is it's in my sight

I remember the night so very clear

It was given to me by sumone so dear

 While lyin in his arms right there on the beach

 The stars so distant out of our reach

 He gave me the star to remember him by

 Which i turn and look up to right there in the sky

 A smile on my face as i think of my man

I wish i could reach out and touch him but not it's not allways that i can

 So with having my star that he'd given to me

I can look up to the sky and think of my lee
