Hi

     I'm Sarah and my sister Cyndi told me i had to come join her min pin discussion group.  I'm anxious to learn more about the min pin breed and i love to hear funny stories.

     I first met a min pin when my big sister got Kevlar.  He was adorable.  My parents loved him as well.  We had always been a cat family, but when Spooky died at age 15 we were without an animal for the first time in 20 years.  Well, my parents loved Kevlar so much I was able to convince them to become a dog family and get a min pin of our own.  My sister put us in contact with a breeder and we planned our trip over Spring Break 2004 to fetch the newest member of our family.  When the breeder let loose the wave of 5 1/2 week old puppies.............o my goodness.........well i only wish i could have taken them all.  I couldn't make up my mind so we let my dad pick one out.  He ended up picking the feisty lil boy who had immediately tried to rip apart the stuffed hippo we had brought.  My parents let me pick out his name and i thought it would be just hilarious to name him Goliath, since he acts like a big tough guy but is really just a wienie.  I remember our first potty trip outside, he tried to squat to make a #2 and the wind knocked him over.  The next day we drove 3 hrs to my sisters house where he met his cousin Kevlar, they had a great time.  Goliath is now almost 9 months and is my pride and joy.  I don't know what i would do without him.
