I noticed under the Surname page that there was some new posting.  The name Dame caught my eye.  I checked my files, and I have a few Dames.

James H. Dames, born March 17, 1848 and died February 12, 1918.  Married Elizabeth Morrow on August 31, 1876.  She was born on March 1, 1838 and died January 1, 1912.  Her parents were David James Morrow and Lucinda Young.

Michelle Kay Dame who married Steven Dean Smith, Jr.  Her parents were Gary Dame and Sherry Kay Strafford.  Steven Smith's grandfather, Bobby Smith, is my great uncle.

Hello, Billy.  The Dame you are referring to is John H. Dame, born Mar 17, 1843, died Feb 12, 1918.  The information you have on his wife Elizabeth Elmira Morrow is correct according to my records.  John Henegar Dame is the brother of my gr-gr-grandfather, Pleasant C. Dame.  My lineage is:  Valentine Dame (1808), Pleasant C. Dame (1830), William Valentine Dame (1856), Everett E. Dame (1901, Lorea Dame (1926-my mother).

I do not have Michelle Kay Dame in any records.  Is she part of John H. Dame's family?

I have no idea if Michelle is any relation to John H. Dame's family.
