We can't all abandon MSN yet ... we don't even know what they are offering later this month!  LOL

It's been fun trying out the two new sites Wayne and I set up, but no decision has been made yet where to go.  I've read on other boards that people are having lots of problems with Multiply, so I don't think we want to consider that.

So ... where is everyone?  We need to keep this board alive for a while.  I'm keeping Phreik chat open, too, as we don't want to lose anyone and we have some chatters that visit Phreik who don't post on the board.

Working long hours and too tired to do anything. Basically eat my dinner and off to bed.

I've been having that same problem, Gayle.  That may be why posting is slow lately.  Which makes me think we really need to move on and get away from MSN before too long.

Everyone who cares about sticking together should try out both Aimoo and Yuku to see which is the most likable. I like the Yuku chat site better as the chat screen is full size and easier on my eyes.

I'm still working my away around those new sights. I don't quite get it on the Aimoo. Where is the general posting screen where everyone would post?  Is it like that???

I had to experiment to get into yuku but I ttink I'm in.
I did see the chat room.  Its good. But still where is the general posting screen.

(I was really busy last week and really didn't have much time to look at those sights so maybe I'm crying too soon about where is everything)

I have been having a hard time getting into msn also. When I have got in and posted, they get lost in cybre space! It is so frustating, that I have not posted here.
I agree with Suz, we should work hard at finding a new space. It is difficult for many people to get used to a new forum, but lets face it.... none are going to look like this site. One of the reasons MSN is dumping it is due to the difficulty of keeping it safe!
Please keep trying AIMOO and YUKU. We need to figure where we will all end up. Maybe neither, but without testing them, we will never know.
If we are to stay a group, we must actively work on finding a new home.

I'm still struggling from day to day with my health.  Most of my energy goes into trying to get done everyday stuff and keeping up with the office work.  My appt. at OHSU (research hospital) is Nov. 18th.  Kevin just keeps giving me lots of hugs and encouragement to hang in there.

I haven't tried out the new sites yet.  I know I should.  Whatever decision is made I will be agreeable with.

I think I am having Internet and Diabetic burnout, have not been posting much anywhere, plus I have not been feeling well, chronic sinus stuff and mega doses of antibiotic, making me feel like crapola.

As to the sight we choose, I really don't think it matters, just so we all know where we end up.  The important thing is a sight that reaches  many people (newbies), as we could chat anywhere with the old timers.

Sugar, the two sites are set up in categories.

At Yuku, there are 3 categories:  Chatroom, General Discussion, and Useful Information.  Just click on the underlined General Discussion link, and it will take you to the daily posting.

At Aimo there are 3 sections:  General, Useful Information and Recyle Bin.  Just click on General Discussion and it will take you to the daily posting.

Hope this helps.

I have been having trouble posting here also.  Keeping busy with physical therapy and up until Tuesday...working on an election.  I leave next week for a two week trip to Hawaii.  I decided to go and visit my sister and spend Thanksgiving with them.

I haven't had much to say regarding diabetes.  I guess no news is good news because posting usually means I have a question/problem.  I will have to check out those sites that you listed..which one is everyone favoring??

Gee, I'm not having any trouble getting in here...unusual, since I'm one of the ones who usually has computer trouble!

I, too, had been busy campaigning.  And other than that, I'm just hanging around, not doing too much of anything.  Life has been pretty boring, but I guess that's better than being in crisis!

Hi, Everyone:

I haven't had much to say, so have not been posting. I will try to get to the new sites and see how they are. Thanks to Wayne and Suz for looking for a new site for us. I have not had any trouble with MSN but, like I said, have not been posting much.

I have been to both sites and posted on both but I do admit I like Aimoo better. It just seems easier to navigate for me.
Whichever is decided upon is all right with me. Just point me in the general direction and I'll be there sooner or later. LOL
