Does anyone know what the best spyware program is right now?  Our Spyware Doctor subscription has expired.  It would be nice to find a program that is free, but I don't know how well something "free" would work.

Thanks.

Terri

Hi Terri,
Many freeware anti virus programs have tojans, worms and all sorts of spyware. Stay away from them, they are poison!
Spyware Doctor with Anti virus is a good program and simple to use!

I use AVG free as well and it works great, just be sure not to sign up for the one where they charge you.  I think David led me to it.

I also use AVG free and it is a wonderful program.  AVG free was recommended by the person who built my computer.  It has caught a lot of virus for me and does not overwhelm your computer taking up space.  Combined with malware bytes and ccleaner, my computer is VERY well protected.
