Together Rx Access

People who have no prescription drug coverage (public or private) and are not eligible for Medicare may be able to get help paying for prescription items with free Together Rx Access Card.

Using the card can save 25% to 40% on the cost of covered brand name drugs and supplies. A number of generic drugs are also covered. Numerous oral diabetes drugs are included in the program, as are certain blood glucose meters and test strips (various FreeStyle, OneTouch, and Precision brand products), and insulin glargine (brand name Lantus). The card, which is supported by a number of large pharmaceutical companies, is accepted at the majority of pharmacies in the United States.

Other eligibility requirements for the program include certain limits on income and being a legal U.S. resident. You can see if you qualify, view a complete drug list, enroll in the program, or just learn more about the Together Rx Access Program by logging on to www.togetherrxaccess.com or by calling (800) 444-4106.

It’s a resource for uninsured patients called TogetherRxAccess. If you currently have no prescription drug coverage and are not eligible for MediCare, you may well be eligible for the Together Rx Access Card, which gets you 25 to 40 percent off brand-name prescription products at pharmacies nationwide.

To be eligible, you also have to have a household income of less than $30,000 for a single person or $60,000 for a family of four (income eligibility is adjusted for family size), and you must be legal residents of the United States or Puerto Rico.

A site for diabetic information for eating out. It includes a page (how I found it) for chinese food take out and even has information forpumpers there (since I don't have a pump, I don't know how good that information is).
