PSP 7.04 Tools explained
By Hovering each tool it will give you these names
Hovering means to place your mouse pointer over the tool for a brief period till a pop up comes out with the tool's name
~ARROW. When using this tool, you can move your windows or point to something.
~MAGNIFYING GLASS. Clicking on this will let you magnify your image or decrease image. You can use this to zoom closer on your image or right mouse click to decrease the image.
~DEFORMATION TOOL. This allows you to change the shape of an image to your specifications. This is used alot in advanced tutorials.
~CROP TOOL. This tool allows you to cut your image down to your preferred size.
~MOVER TOOL. This tool allows you to move an image within an image, move text, and more.
~SELECTION TOOL. You use this tool to make objects, shapes, and more.
~LASSO TOOL. This tool is very similar to your selection tool except the selection tool is limited to certain shapes and images. The LASSO TOOL is is unlimited in its selections as you can use it to select most any shape.
~MAGIC WAND. This tool is used to select colors, and objects and so much more.
~DROPPER. Click on this when you want to catch a certain color from an image ad do not know the coding for it. This will select the color for you.
~PAINT BRUSH TOOL. You can paint your images, touch them up, with this tool.
~CLONE TOOL. Clicking on this will let you clone your image.
~COLOR REPLACER. Select the color you are replacing as the foreground/stroke or background/fill color.
~ TOUCH UP TOOL. This can smudge, darken, lighten, etc. your image.
~ SCRATCH REMOVER TOOL. Drag this tool along scratches, cracks, and other unwanted objects to remove them from your photographs.
~ ERASER TOOL. With this you can erase parts of your image that you do not want.
~TUBE TOOL. Actually, Tube comes from the extension name of the image this tool uses, ".tub" Tubes Are transparent backed with images that can be sized and used over and over again with this tool.
~AIRBRUSH TOOL. The Airbrush simulates painting with an airbrush or spray can.
~FLOOD FILL TOOL. The Flood Fill tool fills an area with a color, pattern, or gradient.
~TEXT TOOL. Click on this to add text to your image.
~DRAW TOOL or LINE TOOL. Use the Drawing tool to draw straight lines, freehand lines. etc.
~PRESET SHAPES TOOL. Use the Shape tool to draw rectangles, buttons, callouts, signs, and polygons as raster objects on raster layers or vector objects on vector layers.
~Use the Vector Object Selection tool to move, resize, skew, stretch vector and rotate vector objects, to edit vector object nodes, and to use Edit menu commands on Vector objects
Node edit once in node edit move your cursor to where you want to add your new node your cursor should have a + beside it, press CTRL and click to add a new node, right click on node for another menu which gives you the options to set your node type.
