March 15th - The Ides of March

The Ides of March is noted famously as the date of the assassination of Julius Caesar back in the Roman days. Shakespeare's play of his tragedy marked a sense of superstition of this day, with the notable quote "Beware the Ides of March!" March 16th - Aba's ½ Birthday

What is a half-birthday? Easily, it's the day six calendar months from a birthday. Born on January 21st? Yours is on July 21st. Some use this day as a more convenient time to celebrate. St. Patrick's Day celebrates the saint from Ireland, hence its Irish origination. It is a worldwide holiday, commonly celebrated with a major parade in many major cities.
