When Life Plays Tricks on You The day begins wirh a bright crisp glow, You meet with all of the friends you know, then suddenly life plays tricks on you, and all you can say is "What do I do?"
At first things trivial and petty begin to go wrong, by mid-day you seem to be trudging along, as night arrives the tears of frustration begin to fall, and you really wonder "Is there is any hope at all?"
Your eyes are tired and your heart is heavy, you believe you've been here a million times already, so you drop to your knees and ask the Lord " what must I do?" that's what you do when life plays tricks on you! Debra Jean Alley AKA Copyright ©2004 Debra Jean Alley |

Fleeting Shadows The sultry air is above my head. The terrain stretches as far as the eye can see, As does the sky far reaches above my head. If ere the dragons flame may be 'tis in the midst of me. I see it not, but as fleeting shadows, A fleeting shade dost fall, A dragons heart filled so much with love, Yet darkness comes to steal it all. Great dragons fled into the celestial, to flee the hadred hearts, Their forms to see no more with human eyes so dim and reserved. Oh, what I'd give to flee myself, To be with those of tender hearts, Yet I have been placed among these human forms, Those that hate the dragons so. I find my spirit flee unleashed and free, to soar within the astrial realm , There stand before my sacred place, among dragons with my soul filled in glee.
