Why does my finished tag look bleached or streaky?

It looks pale and over-bright to me after I save them and look at the graphic on a page. Why is this happening?

 

 

 

psp8 adjust > sharpness > sharpen

psp7 effects > sharpen > sharpen

That is due to over-sharpening

 

This is more of a problem in psp8 then it is in psp7.

 

Tip From Apk:  I have a little tip for u and anyone reading this post.........

1. In PSP 7 we needed to sharpen after adding any and all effects to get a clear image but
2. In PSP8 sharpen is very seldom needed in comparison
3. In fact,  as far as effects are concerned the only tool that seems to make the image blur in psp 8 is the deform tool then
4. U can use sharpen or clarify to make it crisper looking

 

TIP 2 From Apk: a second tip that came with talking to others and my own experimenting is this:

1. InPSP8 when things look good as far as sharpness, they are often over-sharpened when we view our final picture in a post.
2. This is shown by brightness on image that strips color from the image and/or from white streaky look on image.

What I am saying is to sharpen less in PSP8 and watch how u use the sharpen tool when u do try to sharpen something..
