- when box appears type in 300 in both Height and width
- Transparent and raster layer checked click ok
- you see a white a grey checkerboard now
- Note: If you do Not have tool options in psp 8 open do this
- Right click on any row at the top then tool options and Make sure it is open.
- now, On Left Side you see a big black A
- dont touch it just see it ok just above it is the fluid fill tool left click it
- on the far right is a rainbow of color do you see it
- ok there below the rainbow is 2 boxes
- left click on the second box below rainbow and choose a color,, any color
- you will have to right click in the frame that is checkerboard to fluid fill now
- do so please
- go to font tool now left click it,,, it is the big black A ,,,I told you not to touch earlyer.
- choose a different color in block 2 under the rainbow for the font color
- Now left click inside the new colored frame we made then type your name in the White box and choose font at top in the 3rd row down you see font and creat as we want floating as the type
- font ~ choose wide font looks best
- size ~ you choose, big is better
- if you got it all,,, click apply
- Note:(at the top go to edit then undo if you Make a mistake)
(Repeat Font Instructions as note do not repeat the step ~ look at the third row down from the top there is a Big black A and a creat as we want floating in the creat as area choose a font and a size - click apply)
- You should have running lines now on name
- use the left click and Hold on name to adjust for position
- just left click and hold button and move name
- do you see a running line around your name still,, go to selections at the top
- then to save selection to alpha channel and save it dont name it just save it
Note: yes you are saving the running line as the selecetion for this graffic - Now hit delete on your keyboard it is to your right hand side
- now when you hit delete your name is gone ,,Dont Panic There is no running line
- there is only our background showing
- go to layers at top then new raster layer and click ok
- now go to selections at top then load from alpha channel you will see running line again
(Repeat Note do not repeat the step ~: go to selections then load /save selection then load from alpha channel there is no color there,, none supposed to be there just running line ) - ok now go to layers at top then down to merge and merge visible
- now still got running lines?
- If so lets continue --If not you missed something !!
- ok now go to effects then 3-d then inner bevel and use these settings
- where it says presets at top choose round
- go to width and choose 14
- it is on left side down Low.
- down the center is

- 50
- color is white on right top in the little square.
- on right side Now
- 315
- 50
- 30
- click ok
- it is supposed to be same as the background now except Raised Up letters.
- ok click on the mover tool (it is 4 way arrow in the tools list )
- click on the name and hold slightly move it,,,does it only move?
- if the name Only moved then you are good to go
- Not Name and Background.
- If the whole thing Moved, Double left click inside on the name to cut it loose from the Background.
- **click on white arrow at top of tools then right click on name and copy
- then right click on new area of psp and paste as new image
- name will be cropped to small frame and transparent so Don't panic.
- you can close the big frame now just keep little one with name open
- **now creat a new frame 300x300 transparent and a raster
- now we want to find a good tube to use here
- in psp 8 go to the font tool and count up to the third tool is tube tool
- left click it and look in third row (Tool Options Row)to select the pic ,,there is a little pic there and a drop arrow beside it to choose a tube.
- put this tube in the new frame after you choose it by left clicking inside the blank frame.
- ok right click on the name and copy then Right click and paste into the tube frame as new Raster Layer and position both like you want Useing the mover tool.
- ok now go to layers at top and merge visible then go to file at top then to export then to gif wizard and when it opens click in bottom left corner on use wizard and then save.
- Note: after merging visible then crop and Resize
