Hello all,

I am posting this is the hope that someone can help knock down some brick walls - I have never used this sort of forum before and am not sure whether I should post separate messages for each name. So I apologise if I have done this wrong. The people I am interested in are:

- BARRY - Bartholomew (B late 1700s) in Limerick, Ireland. Married Johanna (surname unknown). The only child I have for them is Patrick (B abt 1810 Shannagolden, Limerick; D 27/5/1886 Australia). These are my 4th grandparents and 3rd great grandfather.
- BARTLEY �?Martin (B abt 1823 County Clare, Ireland; D 5/3/1877 Australia) married Hannah Joyce in Victoria, Australia. Martin’s father was John �?no other details. Martin and Hannah are my 3rd great grandparents.

Have you checked out Familysearch.org for your Barry family. There is an entry by a bloke in Thuringowa Qld with a pedigree(family tree) that names christening place of Shannagolden.

There is two others for Patrick with birthplace and several for BERRY and Barry in Ireland that you may want to check out.

I am presuming that you have death certificates of your family members that died in Australia and also Marriage certificates?

If not hunt around family including cousins to see if anyone has them and plead on bended knee for a COPY not the original. If no-one has them then order them to see if there is any other information that might help you.
