Michael Rock and Margaret Kilgarriff married on 20th February 1854 at Ballaghaderreen, which was in Mayo then and now Roscommon. They lived at Salmonford Bohalis about three miles away where they farmed some rented land. Close to them was Patrick Rock and his wife Anne McAlister, possibly my Michael's brother. In the area bout five miles away was John Rock who had leased land in Crunaun - who married Maria Quinn. I am trying to figure out how these men were related - alongside the other Rock's in the area.

I am interested in any information on my Great Great grandfather, Martin O'Brien (and great grandfather also Martin).
Martin (Snr) was married to catherine Waldron (sometimes listed as Walder), they had 4 children Annie (1851), Mary(1854), Patrick (1856) and Martin (1858).
They farmed a mere 7 acres in Aghaderry, near Loughglynn Roscommon until 1865 - I can't find any reference to them after that date until the appearence of Martin Jnr in the 1901 census for Wales (UK)
