Patrick Burley m. Honora McNerney or McIerney, my records show for their birth place Carrigpatrick, Milton Malby, Co. Clare Ireland
Although I find Carrig, I cant find anything as stated above, maybe it is an error?  In any event, now I am searching just Carrig.
Can you make any sense out of Carrig for me?

I do not have their birth dates, but I do have their children:

Michael b. 12/18/1831 Carrig
Margaret b. 4/25/1833 Carrig
John b. 5/24/1836 and Carrig
Patrick b. 1846 Carrig. Emmigrated 1864 ( he is my direct line) and he married Mary Quinn b. 1849, Emmigrated 1862
I suspect they were married in the USA, all their children were born in the USA.  Their line of work was Butcher and/or grocer
they had 10 children all born in USA
More specifically, Ansonia, Connecticut

Thank you very much
Carol

Hi Carol

I am helping Mike with your search.  There is (or was) definitely a place called Carrigpatrick in the Milltown Malbay area of County Clare.  I found one reference to it.  Strangely, Carrigpatrick is not listed in the very comprehensive Townlands book of 1851, although Milltown Malbay is listed as a Town/Townland.

There will be more info to follow, I am sure.
