I am trying to locate my fiancee's Catholic baptism certificate but have had much luck.  My fiancee believes that he was baptised in Belfast in 1961.  I have contacted almost all 30 catholic priests from Down & Connor but haven't had much luck.

Does anyone know of a Hurley-De Fartino (Irish-Italian) family living in Belfast in 1960s ?

Appreciate any leads you can give me.

Hi and Welcome.  In Belfast there are a lot of Fratino families.  Could the name Originally Have been Spelt Wrong?

Maybe ... I was told they lived around Falls Road.  His mother's name was Eileen Hurley (possibly born around 1941).  She took on her mother's maiden surname Hurley whilst her father was Italian - De Fartino or maybe Fratino as you mentioned.

Could you please reply to messages on the EIFS site, and not from your e-mail inbox.  You will find your messages under HURLEY-DE-FRATINO on the "H" Surname board.

Thank you.

I hope it gets posted on the EIFS site rather than email to everyone. I noted on 192.com that the Fratino there is a marriage post-1984. I believe my fiancee's grandparents were married prior to 1984 :-(
