seeking further ancestry of CUSHNAGHAN Edward and Mary (or Margaret) Collins (or Cullen) , Randalstown Co. Antrim Ireland . THey would be my great-great-great grandparents. Edward was born in 1796 in Co. Antrim Ireland (Randalstown) and died about 1890's. Mary was born and raised same area in 1800 and died 28 Feb 1881. Have information on their descendants but trying to see how farther back we can trace ancestry. No knowledge of Mary's family, but Edward's parents were Patrick and Sarah Cushnaghan, both probably born the mid-1700's. They were also in Randalstown area....apparently a distant relative still owns what was left of their farm on the northern shore of Lough Neagh... (they were also closely associated with the IRISH Lord O'Neill of Shane's Castle (not the English Lord O'Neill))

Any information greatly appreciated!

These are helpful indeed, and I can check with my dad's cousin (our resident genealogist) to see if we've researched "Coushnaghan" yet. Thanks!
